The best time to stroll around the 8 sq. km of Hampstead Heath is Sunday afternoon, when residents of the neighborhood take their walk after lunch, discussing the news of the newspaper. The park, which separates Hampstead and Highgate, was formed from the lands of several properties. The landscapes are varied – there are forests, meadows, hills and lakes where you can swim and fish.
There are here the monuments that adorn the parks of central London, but the site becomes increasingly valuable as it increases the population of the surrounding area. In three weekends – Easter, late spring and late summer – is built an amusement park on the south side.
