The National Army Museum has a wide range of amazing permanent and temporary exhibitions, showing the fascinating story of the British Army and its role in the world in the past and in the present days.
You will find a vivid account of the British land forces history from the 11th century until the today at the museum. Paintings, dioramas, movies and interactive activities illustrate the major battles and give a sense of the life behind the lines of war. There are beautiful paintings of battle scenes and portraits of soldiers. The museum store has a good selection of military books. In addition the museum has also online exhibitions of a diverse range of topics, such as the campaigns in North Africa during the 2nd World War.
